Michele Carey, known by her birth name Michele Lee Henson, born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America she is the child of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, physician, a Thelma Brennell Henson. She was a piano prodigy as a teenager and she was the winner of the national competition at Chicago Music Festival at just thirteen years old. Fort Collins High School, which was where she completed her high school training in 1960, was the place that her family moved to.
